EMERGENCY DISPUTES FUND

 

Each year, several hundred thousand Emergency Dispute Fund (EDF) dollars are awarded to local unions to help finance fights against job actions, disciplinary actions against union officers for union related activities, an employer’s refusal to implement an arbitration award, or other bona fide emergencies.
